This two-top puts a white veined stone-look top in a walnut-tone frame and sets it on a slim black column that tapers into a brass-tone collar and a round brass-tone disc foot. It is a bistro table with a jewelry-like base, sized for two.
Top. White marble-look surface, typically in sintered stone, which resists heat, staining and scratching better than natural marble and does not need sealing. The walnut-tone band protects the stone edge from chipping and gives a warm line around the table.
Base. A tapered steel column in black powder coat, with a brass-tone sleeve at the bottom and a weighted round disc foot. The disc is heavy enough to keep a 28 in (71 cm) top stable; for larger tops we increase the disc diameter or switch to a twin base.
Where it works. Hotel cafes, patisseries, brasseries, cocktail bars and lobby lounges where the base is on show.
Options. Stone pattern and color; band timber tone; column in black, bronze or brass-tone; disc in matching or contrasting finish; square or round top. Brass-tone finishes are coatings over steel, so plan for touch-ups at the foot in high-traffic positions.
