The Obsidian Cone Table is a sculptural two-top: a dark, fine-textured top framed in a thin timber band, on a solid cone pedestal in a dark walnut tone that tapers from a broad foot to a narrow waist under the top.
The cone is more than a shape. Its weight sits low and its foot is continuous, so there are no arms to catch chair legs and no gap for crumbs to collect. Inside, a steel fixing plate and threaded inserts connect top and base, so the joint does not loosen with daily wiping and dragging.
The round version is the softer choice for lounges and corners; the square version, with eased corners, lines up neatly along a banquette. Both carry a charcoal surface supplied in sintered stone for heat and stain resistance, or high-pressure laminate where weight and budget are the priority.
Because a cone foot is wide, we keep this base to two-tops of 24–30 in; for larger tops see the Twin Cone Table, which uses two cones.
