A pale grey stone with a fine grain and a warm pewter-toned edge: the Stone Pier and Walnut Post Long Table has a quiet top for an unusual base. The edge is slim and the slab is matte.
The base is deliberately asymmetric. One end stands on a half-cylinder pier in stone-look finish, and the other end on two slim round walnut posts. The mixed supports make the table read as a sculptural piece, while the stable pier carries most of the weight. Seating is best along the long sides.
Use it as a feature piece in design-led restaurants or hotel dining rooms. Materials of pier and posts, plus slab and size, can be changed on request.
At 47¼ × 23⅝ in (120 × 60 cm) and 29½ in (75 cm) high, this is a dining-height table for two to four covers. Lengths and widths can be altered to order, and tables can be lined up for a run.
