A sand-cream stone with long, soft, horizontal grain and a fine smoked-copper edge: the Oak Web Pillar Table looks like honed travertine from the side. The band is slim and matte.
The pillar is built like an I-beam: two oak slabs stand as flanges with a slim bronze web between them, standing on a flat bronze plate. The detail shows the bronze as a recess between two woods, and the structure is stiff in both directions. Chairs can pull up on all four sides.
Use it in restaurants that mix stone, oak and metal: hotel dining, wine rooms and contemporary bistros. Wood species, web finish and the slab can be adjusted.
Dining height is 29½ in (75 cm) on a 23⅝ in (60 cm) square top, enough for two settings, and it can be sized up to suit your plan. Slab, edge colour and base finish are all made to order.
