Here the edge is timber rather than metal: a slim walnut frame holds a sand-grey textured stone panel, so this table is the one soft-edged exception in the line. The stone is flat and matte, with a subtle rock texture.
A slim bronze column rises from a three-spoke walnut foot, which splays out in a Y shape. The column is round and narrow, so there is plenty of knee room, and the three spokes give a stable stance. The mix of bronze and walnut gives the base a considered, hand-made look.
It suits cafes, restaurants and hotel lounges where timber is the main material and the metal should be a detail. Wood tone, column finish and slab can be changed.
The top is 23⅝ × 23⅝ in (60 × 60 cm) and 29½ in (75 cm) high, so it is a proper dining table for two rather than a coffee table. A pair set edge to edge makes a four-top; larger and round tops are available on request.
