Deep blue stone with white and black flows crossing it, set in a deep bronze band: the Sapphire X-Base Long Table is a dark, mineral top with a metallic frame. The colour is rich, like lapis, and shows best under a warm spot.
Two flat bronze blades cross in an X above a rectangular bronze plate and meet the underside of the top. The X is wide at the top and narrow at the waist, so the table has a central, heavy base and two clean ends for seating. The rectangular plate gives a wide footing along the table's length.
It is a table for cocktail lounges, hotel bar dining and private rooms, and it can be used as a single feature table among neutral ones. Blue slabs and bronze finishes can be changed.
Standard size is 47¼ × 23⅝ in (120 × 60 cm), 29½ in (75 cm) high: dining height, not coffee-table or bar height. It suits two to four guests, and other lengths, round tops and edge colours are available on request.
