Cast metal can do what timber and steel tube cannot: carry texture. This side table's stem is cast with a hammered, bark-like surface in a warm brass finish. At the floor it branches into four tapering roots that spread wide, so the table stays upright on a slim stem.
The top is a white stone with bold grey and charcoal veining and a thick, softly rounded edge. Paired with the organic base, it suits lounges and lobbies that lean on natural motifs: timber, planting and travertine.
Specifying notes
- Stone: natural marble gives the most depth but etches with citrus and wine, so seal it and specify pH-neutral cleaning. A marble-look sintered stone keeps the look with lower maintenance.
- Metal: the cast brass is lacquered to slow tarnish; brushed, antique or dark bronze finishes are available.
- Feet: each root tip takes a small protective glide.
The table is shown at side-table height. For café service, the cast base can be scaled to carry a Ø 24–28 in (60–70 cm) top at dining height with a heavier casting. Top diameter, height and finish are made to order.
