Lounge seating needs two kinds of table: a broad low one in front of the sofa and a higher perch at its arm. This pair covers both in one material story.
The drum table
A round veined stone top in warm white sits on a dark brown cylindrical body with a slightly recessed plinth, so the drum appears to float above the floor. The closed body hides the fixings and resists the scuffs of feet and bags better than open legs.
The side table
A round smoked-glass top sits off-center on a dark cylinder with a recessed cap and a stepped round foot. It is the taller of the two, at sofa-arm height for a drink.
Specifying
- The drum top is marble-look sintered stone by default, heat-tolerant and stain-resistant for coffee and cocktails. Natural marble is available with a sealing routine.
- The glass is specified tempered, with a polished edge.
- The drum body is lacquered timber or powder-coated metal in any dark tone.
A Ø 32–39 in (80–100 cm) drum at 14–16 in (35–40 cm) high suits a three-seat sofa; the side table is about Ø 20 in (50 cm). Sizes and finishes are made to order.
