Large formal rooms need tables that hold their own under a chandelier and a double-height ceiling. This set does it with contrast: deep black stone-look tops veined in gold and white, set against terracotta upholstery and pale marble floors.
Pieces shown
- Four-top tables, rectangular, on a single fluted black column with a round disc foot.
- Square tables on two fluted pedestals, giving a large square top a stable, grounded stance.
- Long banquet tables for eight or more on paired fluted pedestals.
- Tub dining chairs with a dark timber frame, a wraparound back and a terracotta patterned upholstery on seat and back.
Top and base
For service floors we recommend the black veined look in sintered stone: it tolerates hot plates, does not etch with wine or citrus, and keeps the polished face that makes this design work. Real black marble can be specified where the owner accepts sealing and patina. The fluting is machined into the column cladding and finished in a satin black that hides scuffs at shoe height. Every base gets adjustable glides, which matters on stone floors with uneven joints.
Chair fabric, frame tone and table sizes are drawn per project; foams and fabrics can be specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 or BS 5852 on request.
