The Atelier Four-Post Oak Table is an all-timber rectangle built on joinery principles. Each end carries a group of four slim timber posts landing on crossed feet, and a low stretcher ties the two groups together so the whole base works as one rigid frame.
The stretcher is what keeps an all-wood table tight over years of service. Without it, two separate timber bases can loosen at the top fixings as guests lean and staff drag the table; with it, racking forces go into the frame, not into the screws.
The top is solid wood or veneer with a crisp edge, finished in a hard commercial lacquer. Posts are set well inside the top's perimeter, which keeps chair positions free on all sides, and the open construction keeps the look light even at six-top length.
The base knocks down for shipping and reassembles with steel connectors. The same design is available in an oak tone for bright, daytime rooms or a walnut tone for evening service, and it can carry a stone top where the menu requires.
