Not every room wants one table repeated forty times. These three designs share a material language of warm timber bases, rounded edges and muted tops, so they can be mixed across the zones of one restaurant.
The three designs shown
- Bookmatched four-top. A rectangular wood top laid in four bookmatched panels meeting at the center, on two square timber-clad columns with a thin metal inlay line, each on a grey steel plate.
- Stone-look rectangle. A soft grey veined surface framed in timber, standing on two round timber columns with flat round timber feet.
- Dark square two-top. A smooth dark surface in a timber band on a single round timber column and disc foot.
Points to specify
Timber bases in a humid room, near water features, planting or open kitchens, need sealed end grain and a moisture-tolerant finish; we finish every face, including the underside of the discs. Round-foot designs need a foot broad enough to resist tipping, so we size each disc to its top on the drawing.
Tops can be solid wood, veneer or sintered stone. Heights, sizes and timber tone are made to order.
