The simplest table in a café is usually the one bought in the greatest number, so it pays to get the basics right. These tables keep the top consistent, a dark walnut-tone surface with a softened edge, and let you choose the base by room, budget and floor.
| Base | Look | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Black column + square plate | Quiet, square-lined | Square tops pushed into rows |
| Black column + round disc | Soft, easy to mop around | Round tops, tight aisles |
| Brushed stainless column + disc | Bright, coffee-bar feel | Bakeries, espresso bars |
The tops are veneer or solid timber under a hard commercial lacquer. A 24–28 in (61–71 cm) square or round seats two; square versions push together for four. Every base comes with levelling glides, the single most effective fix for wobble on tiled or stone floors.
All three bases share one fixing plate, so if a second site wants a different look, the same tops carry over. Counter-height (36 in) versions suit window ledges and standing areas. Timber tone, edge profile and base finish are matched to your sample.
